Cole loves his learning table

Up until recently we had to take the legs off of this becasue he could not play with it and balance himself. Well he has mastered that!!!

Cole loves his bath and gets super mad when he is taken out! I believe that I created a half human half fish baby!!!!

Long awaited house photos

Yea, I finally took some house photos. I am not thrilled with the dining room ones as I feel they did not do the room justice but at least you get the jist. I will add the living room photos once that has been painted. We just love the new place and could not be happier!

Sun Porch

I love my three season porch! We got lucky and found the wicker furniture at a end of buisness sale. The previous owner had those yellow roll down curtains already so i was very excited to find furniture to match it! Please excuse the curtains, Ted tried to clean them once but they did nto clean up well. Once the nice weather stays for more than 2 days we are going to try again.

As soon as it is nice out I will be serving up margaritas and quacamole so stop by!!

Cole's Room

Dining Room

An old posting showing the "girly" dining room.

My dining room is hard to get a really good photo of as it is kind of small. You can see in the photo that we had that lovely flower wall paper removed, that pink paint removed, the wall painted yellow with a light green in the back of the built-ins and we updated the light. I was not thrilled with the first shade of yellow and thankfully the painter had only done a small strip. Then I was not thrilled with the greenin the built-ins because the paint I picked was called "brown sugar" and on the sample it looked like a neutral brown...but on no! Home ownership is the soooo much fun.

My new dining room table is one of my fave pieces of furniture! We really splurged on this bad boy!! It was hand made by the Amish and with the built in leaf it will seat 8 people. However, we broke the piggy bank and only have 4 chairs for now. Notice the back ground...no more flower wall paper!

Kitchen

Yea, my kitchen is updated!! We had the cupboard painted, and new knobs (see below), a new oven, and a new faucet. My kithen looks so much better now and bigger!!!

I love these knobs!!! Yes, I am a dork for posting my kitchen knobs but it is the little things that make me happy!!!!

St. Patty's

Cole had a rough St. Patty's!! His babysitter Leah, whom he loves and adores had him up late parting hardy!!

Bentley

My first "baby" Bentley. I was making the bed and he thought it looked like a great place for a quick nap! He has adjusted to the new house very well and seems to like all the new nooks and cranny's to sleep in.

Nine month check up

Cole went to the doctor for his nine month check up and his weighs 23 pounds and is 31.5 inches long! He is in the upper 90's for his percentiles. We have a big boy on our hands!!! Our doctor said that Cole is bigger (taller and weighs more) than her almost 3 year old!!!
His bottom two teeth are growing strong and he is currently trying to get the top two in at the same time! He loves mac and cheese as well as waffles. Really he does not dislike anything as you can tell by his growth! He is a fast crawler, is cruising and will likely be walking in no time at all. There is never a dull moment with him!

Mommy's handsome little man!

I just love him in hats..probably becasue the poor guy does not have any hair!! I hear I am lucky that he even keeps the hats on, but trust me leave him alone with that hat in the backseat and it is in his mouth very quickly!!

Long nap equals happy baby!!

Even though we have lowered his crib as low as it will go he can still pull himself up. I am sure he will pull himself right out of the crib one day!

Momma and Cole

This is by far not the best photo but you can see that I cut my hair yet again! I cannot stop!! Cole is such a good boy when we take him out for dinner. On March 3rd he will have his 9mo check up and I will post his new stats!
