Lazy Saturday

Three of Coles loves...snacks, juice, and boating. What more does a two year old need????

Swimming ROCKS!

Cole just loves to swim and this year we joined a boat club with a POOL! He and I hung out Labor Day and swam forever. He even got the guts (with a life jacket) to swim alone.

He swam so much that a snack was much needed!!!!

We were boating one night and in the middle of a wonderfully fun 2 year old tantrum Cole threw his motorcycle over board. He got his first lesson in what does not float. He cried the whole rest of boating and broke my heart. Cole and I went straight to the Meijer and bought a whole pack of motorcycles. Not REALLY sure as to whom learned a lesson here....

Funny Guy

Cole has the BEST sense of humor! I have no clue what made him decide to do this but he sure got a laugh out of us!

So the other morning I hear Cole calling me-when I went into his room he was sitting just like this! I cracked up laughing at him and when I pulled off the blanket he was grinning ear to ear.

Coles 2 year well baby check up

Today is Coles actual birthday and what does every kid like to do on thier birthday??? Yup, go to the doctor...I felt really bad that he had to go see the doctor on his birthday but at least we did not have shots! He got a clean bill of health, weighing in at 30 3/4 pounds and is 35 inches tall. Our little guy is growing like a weed and is a very happy camper!

Cole is 2!!

We celebrated Coles 2 birthday on May 10th so that Grandma Allred could join us for the big day as well as Mother's Day. The party was in our little back yard and thank goodness Mother
Nature graced us with a wonderful day!! Cole seemed to really enjoy the party!

Coles ear tube surgery

Cole had is ear tubes put in this morning. He was such a tropper throughout the whole process!! He weighted in at 32 pounds and is 33.5 inches tall!!! I think the surgery was harder on Mom than Cole! As soon as they said we could go we headed to breakfast where Cole ate more than Mommy! We are all very thankful for your prayers and well wishes. I will post pictures soon!

The Easter Bunny hid the eggs for Cole and he had a blast finding them! He lined them all up on the entertainment center as he found them as his basket (s) were stuffed full of bubbles, books, and new stuffed friends.

I was very leery about dying Easter eggs, but Kim told me that Cole would love it and do just fine. She was right! He LOVED it!! He was such a good little helper. He only cracked 1 out of 6 so I was pretty proud! In these pictures he looks clean but trust me by the time it was done he and I were both dyed!

Happy Easter everyone! Again so sorry for not updating the blog in a timly fashion! Life seems to get away from me quickly! Cole is doing very well and growing like a weed!!! The only bad news we have to report is that on April 10th we are having tubes put in his ears. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers on that day! I swear I will post more Easter pics soon!!!!

So sorry...

Wow I did not realize how long it has been since I posted! Cole is 18 months old and we had his well baby checkup today-he is 34.25 inches tall and weights 28lbs 14 ounces. He is such a good kid, I feel very blessed! Ted and I went to Aruba for our belated honeymoon, we left Thanksgiving morning and were gone for 6 days. Overall we had a good time, we had rain so that was a buzz kill and the island is pretty expensive. We are going to put up the tree this evening so we will see how Cole handles that! I promise to post pictures!! We love you all and hope your holidays are wonderful!!

12 month well baby check up

Cole had his 12 month well baby check up today. He weights 27.12 pounds and is 32 inches tall!! He is in the 93 %!
He really is such a good kid, he is not a picky eater, he loves the pontoon and being outside. He walks with assistance but not really on his own, he can balance himself without any troubles but he does not want to walk. To be really honest I am okay with that, I am so scared of what will happen when he does start to walk! He & I started swimming classes and he just LOVES it!!!! He also likes to try and show off for the little girls, we are in so much trouble with our little flirt!!!

Daddy's present to Cole

Daddy got Cole a BMW..of course what else would we expect??? Cole loved it but....

"TaDa!!!" His legs are not quite long enough so he just pushes it around the house. But he loves very much.

Happy Birthday Cole!!!

5/27/07 was Mr. Cole's first birthday and he had so much fun! I was very suprised how laid back he was at his party, he never fussed or got mad when he was getting passed around. He tried really hard to open his own gifts but I think he was on quite a sugar high by that time! As you will see form the following pictures he liked to eat his cake but really took his sweet time. I think he was a bit surprised that I let him get so dirty!
